1. Appearance of Administration Area Templates

Top header color (default light yellow #FFFFF0)
Main body color (default bluish/green #EAFFFF)
Background color (default navy #000080)           
Default text color (default black #000000)           

Add up to 12 of your own links HTML code to the right admin template which appears on almost every page in the admin area. This is helpful for reference pages while reviewing links, or just for favorite places. Use a target new to open these in a new window.

2. New Link Submissions Setup Options:

Thankyou URL after submissions for webmasters
Do you want to require a reciprocal link?               Yes No
Note: This doesn't check the existence of the link for you, it checks the syntax submitted in the URL field
Allow duplicate URL submissions?                       Yes No
Maximum number of posts to approve at one time?            (50 max)
Number of days approved links should be kept "New"      (364 max)

You can have up to 8 decline link submission form responses. Use letters, numbers and the underscore _ only. You can also submit custom comments to any webmaster, this will just save you time by being allowed to choose from a handy dropdown menu.

Above is just an example of the actual main admin screen as of 12/15/99 - there are several sub screens that branch from this, but this should give you an idea of the functionality inside.  You can customize the look of this page as well as many other features without having to hack any CGI!

Approve Links - This opens another sub menu screen which will allow you to approve, decline or "do later" multiple links at one time waiting approval. You can also send custom emails to webmasters, check reciprocal links in a separate browser window and branch off to other admin areas with the click of a button!

Search Links - Search through any category by alphabetical sort letter, keywords, descriptions using a special admin-only search engine.  The client-side search engine can be viewed at the Link Organizer submit page.

Modify/Delete Links - You can change the title and description, edit the HTML output, change categories, easily add images (by checking off a box) and delete any link in the database.

Add A New Category - You can easily create new categories by filling out the category and HTML page name and pressing a button.

Compile Link List - Compile all you HTML pages at the push of a button.  The above link list is compiled in less than 5 seconds. That is over 30 categories and almost 2500 links!
